if two cubes each of side 6cm are joined face to face , then find the volume of the resulting cubiod?

When two cubes are joined face to face, then for the resulting cuboid:
Length = 12 cm
Breadth = 6 cm
Height = 6 cm
 
Volume of resulting cuboid = L x B x H = 12 x 6 x 6 = 432 cm3
