if two co interior angles are x and y. complement of angle x is equal to supplement of angle y , then find x and y.

Since, x and y are 2 interior angles on the same side of 2 parallel lines 
Hence, x+y = 180 (1)
 
Also, complement of angle x is equal to supplement of angle y
i.e. 90-x = 180-y 
y-x = 90 (2)
 
Adding 1 and 2
2y = 270
y  = 135 degree
And hence x = 180-135 = 45 degree
