if like charges repel each other then why the north part of bar magnet attracts towards the north part of our earth?

The north pole of the earth is actually its magnetically south pole. And, north pole of the magnet get attract towards south pole of magnet.  
 
So, north pole of magnet get attract towards the north part of earth.
