If i have the negative power in the polynomial, can I change the power into a fraction and then solve the question?

Please let us know the exact question. We would like to tell you that a polynomial has no negative powers.
An expression of the form a0xn + a1xn-1 + .... + an-1x + an is called a polynomial of degree n. Note that here a0, a1, ... an are real numbers and n is a non negative integer and a0 is not equal to 0.
