f(1) = 5 
1-2 +3 - a+b = 5
2-a+b = 5
-a+b = 3  (1)
 
f(-1) = 19
1+2 +3 +a + b = 19
a+b = 13  (2)
 
Adding 1 and 2
2b = 16
b = 8
hence, a = 5
