If every action has an equal and opposite reaction, then why does motion occurs?

Dear student
 
Action and reaction are equal and opposite. If the action and reaction act on the same body they will cancel each other and cannot cause motion . If the action and reaction are on different bodies then they will not cancal each other and hence cause the motion.
