Please note that the question is not correct. It should be bN intersection cN =dN and not bN union cN =dN. The solution then would be
 
bN = the set of positive integral multiples of b, cN = the set of positive integral multiplies of c.
Hence, bN intersection cN = the set of positive integral multiples of bc (as b,c are prime)
and this bN intersection cN = dN, hence  d = bc .
