Given that ABC is an equilateral triangle with co-ordinates of B as (-3,0) and of Cas(3,0)
Let Coordinates ofA be (x,y) so AB=BC=AC
AB2 =BC2 =AC2
using Distance Formula
So(x+3)2+y2=(x-3)2+y2
gives 6x =0 or x =0
Also (x-3)2+y2 =36
using x = 0 we get y =3
So required coordinate is (0,3
