A haemophilic man (XhY) marries a normal woman. Now this woman can be a normal carrier (XhX) or a normal homozygous (XX).
If the woman is a carrier, then 50% of the daughters and sons would be haemophilic and 50% would be carriers. So, here there is 50% chance that their first child is normal.
If the woman is normal homozygous, then all the daughters would be carriers and all the sons would be normal. So, here there is 100% chance that their first child is normal.
