Every magnet has a different type of a magnetic field. For eg. the magnetic field of a bar magnet is different than a horse shoe magnet or an electro magnet. The current carrying wire is not a magnet but just displays magnetic properties. The magnetic field in a current carrying wire follows right hand thumb rule.
