Let us suppose A and B are two vectors in the plane of this screen,
then A+B is a vector which also lies in this plane of the sceen.
And AxB is the vector resulting from the cross product of A and B, so the direction of AxB is perpendicular to both A and B and the plane containg them, ie , this screen.
Hence A+B is in the plane of this screen and AxB is perpendicular to it.
So the angle between them is 90 degrees.
