If 3x+y=10 and 2×-y=5 find the value of x

3x + y = 10 ... (i)
2x - y = 5 ... (ii)
Adding (i) and (ii), we get
5x = 15
→ x = 3
Put x = 3 in the equation (i), we get
3 × 3 + y = 10
→ 9 + y = 10
→ y = 1
