I wanted to know why the rationalising factor of the equation begin inline style fraction numerator 5 plus 2 square root of 3 over denominator 5 minus 2 square root of 3 end fraction end style is 5 plus 2 square root of 3, instead of 5 minus 2 square root of 3. This equation was in one of the video lessons, and I am a bit confused why addition is being used in the rationalising factor. Can I use 5 minus 2 square root of 3as the rationalising factor?
