Terrorism can only be countered by war.

For:

Safety of a country is the prime goal of its defence system which includes fighting a war, if need be. Moreover, it is a well known fact that attack is the best form of defence.

The network of terrorists groups is often very strong and sophisticated. Such groups can be counteracted only with an equally strong defence system which is the military of a country.

Terrorists groups have no regard for rules of international harmony and concord they therefore the use of force in the form of wars to be deal with them is justified.

The number of terrorists and terrorists groups present in the world today is mind boggling. the world can be freed from their grips only if they are attacked and wiped out completely.

Against:

War cannot be fought against terrorists groups as they are not confined or limited to a particular religion or geographic region.

War times force common man to give up his social rights for temporary sense of safety.

Waging wars affects the economy of a country whose chief responsibility is to look after the health and prosperity of its masses.

Apart from the additional power given in the hands of the ruling bodies, the time, money and resources are also wasted in the name of war.

The additional power given in the hands of the ruling bodies during war time is often misused and resources are wasted
