i didnt get this question : liquid substance can be said to be ----- and ----- can diffuse in liquid when i checked the answer it came out as: fluid solid,liquid solid (its a mcq)

All liquids are fluid.
Fluids flow and have some viscosity. 
A fluid is a substance that lacks rigidity it cannot resist force when it is applied to it. 
Liquids can take up the shape of any container or vessel, and they are relatively incompressible.
 
Solids and liquid particles can diffuse in the interparticle spaces between the solvent that is liquid particles. 
For example: salt in water, ink in water.
