i did not understand that if a planar region formed by a fig p is made up of two non overlapping planar regions formed by the fig A and B, then ar(P)=ar(A)+ar(B)

From the figure it is clear that area of planar region p is equal to area of planar region A + area of planar region B.
i.e. ar(p) = ar(A) + ar(B)
