As all the three appliances are connected in parallel so their resultant resistance will be
1/100 + 1/50 + 1/500 = 1/R
or R = 31.25 ohms
Now as all of them are connected with same source of voltage so the current through them will be
I = V/R
I = 220/31.25 = 7.04 Amperes
If the electric iron is taking the same current as the three appliances then its resistance will be same as their resultant resistance.
