let a is the smaller number. Clearly we have a< nand b >n. Let us say we write down all factors of a number n in above format. Clearly a starts to inreasese from 1 and can reach a maximum of n. After t factors start to repeat in a reverse order. So if a integer is prime it cannot be divided by any prime p less than or equal to n .
