Hi dear,

If you were to see a rainbow from up in the sky ( like a bird), you would be able to see the whole rainbow is actually a full circle. The reason you see only a half circle from below (ground) is that the horizon cuts off your view making it look like the rainbow is a half circle and that it starts and ends at some point. But, it is something which is floating up in the sky!!!
