How to understand refraction in prism

A diagram is attached. It will make you understand the fundamental term of refraction through prism. You should know the rules of refraction like when light ray travel from rarer to denser medium it bend towards normal, when light travel from denser to rarer it move away from the normal. In refraction angle of incidence is equal to angle of emergence.
