How the ions formed by acids can be seen after reaction?

Ionic reactions are reversible reactions hence they can be in their ionic state after the reaction.
Also acids are always in their ionic state because of that they are known as strong acid. hence after the reaction if acid is a strong with adequate amount of solution it will be in that solution in ionic form.
Dissociation is associated with acids hence they found in ionic form.
As you may know that HCl is a gas unless it is dissolved in water, in aqueous form this gas of HCl is act as a strong acid.
But in gaseous form it has no liberty to form ion and show its acidic nature, because in gaseous state it is not able to form ions.
