How the azimuthal quantum number(l) tells about the shape of the orbital?

Of the value of l = 0, the shape is spherical. Its s orbital.
l = 1 its p orbital and the shape is dumb bell.
l = 2 its shape is double dumb bell. Its d orbital
So by looking at the value of l, we can know that what is the shape of teh orbital.
