How much force is required to increase the velocity of a body of 1kg from 20 m/s to 30 m/s?

Expert Answer:

Final velocity - Intial velocity divided by 2 

Then (20-10)/2 = 5 

Also,

f = ma     

given mass = 1 kg

a = 5 m/s2       

Therefore,

F = ma = 1 x 5 = 5 N
