How many 5 digit even numbers can be formed using the digits 1,2,5,4,5

You have probably written the digits wrongly. It should be 1,2,3,4,5. 
 
For 5 digit, even numbers, the fifth digit or the one's place should be wither 2 or 4. Rest all 4 digits can be anything from the 5 digits. 
 
So, the number of 5 digit numbers = 5 x 5 x 5 x5 x 2 (there are 5 possibilities for each digit except ones digit for which there are 2 possibilities)
Hence, number of 5 digit numbers = 1250
