How long should an ideal answer be if it is a :(How many points)
a) Short anwer type question(3-4 marks)
b) Structured Answer type question(5-6 marks)

It is relative and depends on the nature and scope of the question. But generally speaking, four to five points for the former and six to seven points for the latter should be enough.
