answered-by-expert Expert Answer
Weight W of the object is gravitational force acting on it

W = gravitational force = mass × acceleration due to gravity

Acceleration due to gravity = Gravitational force / mass

units of Gravitational force is Newton N and units of mass is kg

Hence units of acceleration due to gravity is ( N / kg )

( It is not N / m as posted in the question , may be latter 'm' is used by mistake for kg )
