How is refraction occurring in a glass prism?

Expert Answer:

Hi Julie, When light travels from air to glass prism, it bends as light is travelling from a rarer to denser medium. This light then travels inside glass and comes out in air again. At this point also it bends. This is how refraction takes place inside the prism.
