How does the magnetic field depend when the current carrying conductor is attached in series or parallel

In first case when the wires are connected in parallel and voltage is applied they will attract each other but when they are connected in series then they will repel each other.
This is because when the wires are connected parallel, the currents in each are going in same direction and thus attracts while in series current flows in opposite direction and wires will repel each other.
The magnetic field B1 experienced by wire 2 due to wire 1 will be given as
Similarly you can find the magnetic field B2 experienced by wire 1 due to wire 2.
