How does the focal length of a convex lens change

Asked by  | 10th Apr, 2008, 08:57: PM

Expert Answer:

The focal length continues to increase as wavelength increases.

Since the wavelength of red light is greater than the blue light; hence the focal length of red light will be more than the blue light.
