CBSE Class 9 Answered
How does Newton's third law explain the walking on the road?
Asked by Topperlearning User | 04 Jun, 2014, 01:23: PM
Expert Answer
Walking on the road is possible only due to the reaction force. In order to walk, we push our foot against the road and thus exert action force in backward direction. According to the Newton's third law, the ground exerts an equal force in opposite direction (reaction force). In this way we walk on the road.
