how does focal length influence the refraction of light? explain

Expert Answer
for lens:
1/f  =(?-1)(1/R1  -1/R2)
here, f= focal length of the lens.
?=refractive index
R1,R2=radius of curvature of two faces of the lens
so if the refractive index of the material opf the lens is more then the focal length will be less. ie light will bend more.
