How does angle of emergence is affected by the  refractive index of glass slab? Explain with diagram.

-Refractive index is limited to determining the extent of the bending of light within the glass slab or any medium for that sake.
-If the medium is denser as compared to the medium of incident light, then the light bends towards the normal.
-If the medium is rarer (lesser density) when compared to the medium of incident light, then the light bends away from the normal.
-However, the angle of emergence of the light remains same of that of the angle of incidence.
-Therefore, the angle of emergence is not affected by the refractive index of glass slab.
