HOW DO YOU DEFINE A CHALLENGE??

In reference to this chapter a challenge is not just another problem. We usually call those difficulties a ‘challenge’ which are significant and which can be overcome. Challenge is a difficulty that carries within it an opportunity for progress. Once we overcome a challenge we go up to a higher level than before. With reference to democracy, there are three challenges- foundational challenge, challenge of expansion and challenge of democracy. It is when one we overcome the first challenge – foundational challenge of democracy, we proceed to the challenge of expansion. After we overcome the latter, we have the challenge to democracy. Democracy becomes stronger after crossing every challenge
