The answer is (d) None of the above.
It is because states controlled by France did not declare their independence. Rather, they were annexed by the victorios countries who met at the Congress of Vienna in 1815.
Also, boundaries were set up in the states to prevent further expansion of the French control.
So the probable answer is option (d).
