How can you convert ethyne to acetone????

1) On adding a soln of ammoniacal Na, ethyne will form HC CNa.
HCΞCH + Na -----> HCΞC Na
2)On addition of CH3Br to this, it will form propyne.
HCΞC Na + CH3Br -----> HCΞCCH3
3) Propyne on reaction withHgSO4 gives acetone.
H3C-C C-H (propyne) + H2O + HgSO4 + H(+) --> CH3-C(=O)-CH3 (acetone)
We hope that clarifies your query.
