A force is said to be conservative if work done in taking the system from one point to the other point is independent of path followed but depends upon initial and final position.

Now, in case of cyclic process the initial and final positions are same, which means that the displacement is zero. Now, since the displacement is zero work done by conservative force such as a spring force in a cyclic process is zero.
