how can we see transparent objects if the light passes through them and does not reflect?

Whenever light falls on an object, part of it is transmitted, part absorbed and part scattered or reflected.
When a transparent object is taken, majority of the light is transmitted, but some light is bsorbed and scattered too. Due to this scattered light we are able to see the object.
