How can we say that force is an interaction between 2 objects if non contact force is also there?

Expert Answer:
Even if it is a non-contact force (like gravitational force, electrostatic force, magnetic force) and objects are not in contact with each other, there is an interaction between the objects due to the influence of field (like gravitational, electrostatic, magnetic field) of one object on to the another object.
