How can we find the type of hybridisation in a compound formed? Eg. diamond ?

- The hybridisation of carbon atom in diamond is sp3.
- A three-dimensional network of sigma bonds connects the carbon atoms in diamond to give the typical structure of diamond.
- Each carbon atom is attached with another four carbon atoms through sp3 hybridised four covalent bonds.
