how can there be storms in planets
Asked by anirudhs | 15th Apr, 2010, 08:41: PM
The storms are created by pressure gradients i.e. different pressures at different locations. When a planet rotates, different locations experience different rates, for example the gas near poles is rotating faster than at equator.
This and other perturbations are responsible for storms.
