How can the current through the galvanometer be determined??
Asked by | 23rd Jan, 2009, 03:31: PM
Current, i = (Cθ / n H A )
Here, n = no. of turns in the coil.
A = Area of coil.
H = Magnetic field due to magnet.
C = Restoring couple per unit angular twist.
θ = Deflection of coil in equilibrium position.
After performing the expt. and knowing the value of above parameters, the given formula can be calculated to find the current.
