how are 3 vectors added

Not only three but any number of vectors can be added it they are given in the component form, and the resultant vectors components will be addition of respective component addition of all vectors.

A = Axi + Ayj + Azk; B = Bxi + Byj + Bzk; C = Cxi + Cyj + Czk be the three vectors then the resultant vector R is given by,

R = (Ax +Bx +Cx)i + (Ay +By +Cy)j + (Az +Bz +Cz)k 

We can also add the three vectors graphically, by putting all the vectors together such that the tail of second vector starts from the arrowhead of first, and the tails of third starts from the arrowhead of the second vector. Draw the resultant vector from tail of first vector to the arrowhead of third vector.
