high speed road accidents are more dangerous than low speed road accidents why?

Expert Answer:

During collision the amount of impact on both the bodies depend on their momentum i.e.,
P = mv
which shows that the body having greater velocity will have more momentum and it will collide more impactfully.
Therefore, bodies having low speed collide with less momentum in comparison to those having high speed.
