Hi sir/mam
How can I solve this problem ?

We have equation of refraction in spherical surface as
( n2 / v ) - ( n1 / u ) = ( n2 - n1) /R ......................(1)
where n1 is refractive index of medium of incident light ray .
In this question, n1 is refractive index of air , n1 =1
n2 is refractive index of refracting medium , in this case we assume n2 = 1.5 , is refractive index of glass
R is the Radius of curvature of spherical surface, v is image distance and u is object distance
hence using eqn.(1), we have, ( 1.5 / v ) +(1/10) = ( 0.5 / 10) .................(2)
In eqn.(2), Cartesian sign convention is used so that object distanve u is negative.
From eqn.(2), we get, image distance v = - 30 cm
