Hi Shaleen I didn"t understand difference between virtual and real image. Can you please elobrate it nicely so that I can understand its basic?

Considering reflection, image formed at the same side of object is called the real image, and the image formed behind the polished surface is called virtual image. The major difference is that a real image can be obtained on a screen, while a virtual image cannot be obtained on a screen. A plane mirror always form virtual image.
