Asexual Reproduction
· It involves formation of reproductive cells i.e. gametes.
· It does not involve the formation of gametes.
· Fusion of male and female gametes takes place resulting into the formation of zygote which develops into a new organisms.
· New organisms are formed either by the division of the parent body or differentiation of parent body.
· The scope for variation in the species is very high.
· There is hardly any scope for variation.
· Offsprings are not genetically identical.
· Offspirngs are genetically identical.
