Hi ma'am, State why do scientists classify organisms?

There are about 1 million different species of animals, and over 300,000 species of plants. It will not be possible to study each organismnseparately. Hence we classify organisms
according to their similarities and differences so as to facilitate their easy study. Classification
also helps us to understand the pathway and process of evolution to a great extent.
