Pancreas is both an exocrine and endocrine gland. The endocrine part of pancreas secretes hormones (insulin, glucagon, somatostatin and pancreatic polypeptide). The exocrine part of pancreas secretes pancreatic juice containing digestive enzymes that pass to the small intestine.
