Q2. We can figure out the anomalous reading by calculating the Resistance (V/i) in each case. Resistance for V=4.5, i = 0.15 is 30 ohms which is different from that for the rest of the combinations (25 ohms). hence this reading must be discarded.
 
Mean value of resistance based on the remaining sets:
R1 = 2/0.08 = 25
R2 = 3/0.12 = 25
R3 = 5/0.2   = 25
R4 = 6/0.24 = 25
 
Mean = 25 ohms
