The permutations in which the four I's do come together are,
IIII*******, *IIII******, **IIII*****, ***IIII****, ****IIII***, *****IIII**, ******IIII*, *******IIII.
And they are 8 in number.
The total distinct permutation of the letters in the word are = 11!/(4!4!2!) = 34650
(We divide by 4! because I occurs 4 times, similary for S and 2! for P which repeats twice)
Hence the distinct permutation in which the four I's don't come together = 34650 - 8 = 34642
